What are Spend Cards?

Spend Cards are business cards that pull funds directly from the Spend Account balance. Unlimited virtual and physical cards can be created for different business needs without preloading funds.

How many Spend Cards can be created?

There is no limit. Unlimited virtual and physical cards can be created at no additional cost.

Can cards be created for employees?

This feature is coming in the future. For now, unlimited cards can be created under the Business Owner’s name.

What controls are available for Spend Cards?

Spending limits can be set per card. Cards can be frozen, unfrozen, or closed instantly. Real-time transaction notifications are available, and all activity is managed through the mobile app.

Do Spend Cards work at ATMs?

No. Spend Cards cannot be used for cash withdrawals at ATMs. They are intended for business purchases where Visa is accepted.

What happens if there is no money in the Spend Account?

The transaction will be declined. Spend Cards require sufficient balance in the Spend Account, which helps maintain better spending control.

Can Spend Cards be used for online purchases?

Yes. Both virtual and physical Spend Cards work for online and in-store purchases anywhere Visa is accepted, excluding ATMs.

How is a new Spend Card created?

Open the ScanPay app, go to the Spend section, tap Create Card, choose virtual or physical, set the spending limit, and complete the setup.

How quickly does a physical card arrive?

Physical cards are shipped free to the business address and typically arrive within seven days of creation.

How secure are Spend Cards?

Spend Cards offer strong security with real-time transaction notifications, instant card freezing, and full visibility into spending. Cards can also be restricted by merchant type and spending limits.

What should be done if unauthorized activity is noticed?

Contact the support team immediately at support@goscanpay.com. The card can be frozen instantly in the app to stop further transactions, and unauthorized charges will be investigated.

What can Spend Cards be used for?

They can be used for business expenses such as fuel, office supplies, vendor payments, equipment purchases, and other business-related spending where Visa is accepted.

Can different cards be set up for different purposes?

Yes. Separate cards can be created for fuel, supplies, projects, or specific use cases, each with its own limits and restrictions.

How do Spend Cards help with expense management?

They provide clear visibility into who spent what, where, and when. Every transaction is tracked in real time, eliminating the need for petty cash or manual expense reports.

Are there spending limits on Spend Cards?

Yes. Daily and monthly limits can be set for each card. Limits depend on account status and can be viewed in the app.

Can spending limits be changed?

Yes. Limits can be adjusted at any time through the ScanPay app.

What if spending above the limit is needed?

Limits can be temporarily increased in the app, or a new card with higher limits can be created for specific purchases.

What should be done if there is an issue with a transaction?

Contact the support team at support@goscanpay.com. Transaction issues or disputes will be reviewed, and cards can be frozen instantly if needed.

Can a charge be disputed?

Yes. Reach out to the support team, and they will assist with filing a dispute for incorrect or unauthorized charges.
